A view up the Royal Mile from the apartment window. The three church style buildings are:
Nearest: Tron Kirk
Middle: The High Kirk of St Giles
Furthest: Tolbooth Kirk

Edinburgh Castle is just beyond Tolbooth Kirk.
Many a bad man was hanged outside St Giles including Deacon Brodie, the inspiration for Jekyll & Hyde.
